I haven't been to Westfield, I haven't been to Bluewater, I haven't been to Lakeside, I don't really like shopping - which is something of a guilty admission. But, but, but, I went to a new shopping centre in Bristol, the weather was lovely and it actually really excited me. I wouldn't have been surprised if a little space bubble had floated by to take us down to the ground. It was so very futuristic.

This was the look I aspired to in 1972, when a good night out was half pints of beer at the Tadcaster Folk Club. My mum once came to pick me up from school and claimed she couldn't identify me from all the rest of the mopey teenagers wearing their hair in curtains over their faces.

Another headline event in Hackney.

I've grown a mammoth tomato plant from a seed in the compost heap. It's dwarfing a little apple tree and now the squirrels have begun to eat the little fruit, so I'm going to have to pick them to keep ownership. Shame.
