2. HOW TO ORDER ONLINE
1. Use the navigation links to help you find what you are looking for. More specific categories are found within these categories, which you can access by hovering and selecting from the dropdown menu. Alternatively you can enter in a specific search term in the search bar located in the top right hand corner of the website.
2. Once you have found an item you wish to purchase, click the ‘BUY’ button. By doing so you will next be sent to ‘Your Basket’ page where you can amend the quantity, and update your shopping bag before clicking ‘PROCEED TO SECURE CHECKOUT’.
3. You will next be redirected to our simple and secure 1 page checkout. If you are a returning customer please click the link on the top left of the page. If you are not a returning customer or do not wish to register your details with us, enter your delivery and payment details before reviewing the items in your order. Payments can be taken via Visa Debit, Visa Credit, MasterCard and PayPal. If you have any problems at any stage please email web@allycapellino.co.uk
4. You can also enter any student or discount codes at this stage. If you wish to amend any of your order details click ‘Return To Bag’ or click the ‘back’ button in your browser to be taken back to ‘Your Basket’ page.
5. Click on ‘Place order now’ to complete your order. If required by your bank, you will be taken to a verification page where you will be asked to enter your secure password. Please do not refresh this page, as it can result in payment being taken more than once.
6. Your payment at order confirmation is subject to security checks and therefore is not confirmation of your order being completed. We will email you to confirm your order and dispatch of the item(s). Please see www.paypal.com for information on PayPal payments.
7. Please note that items may sell out during the shopping session, stock availability will be updated once you reach the checkout.

3. SECURE PAYMENT, PRICING, AND PROMOTIONS
Secure Payment
We accept payment via Visa Debit, Visa Credit, and MasterCard. We also accept payments via Paypal.
Payment will be taken at order confirmation, subject to security checks, and therefore is not confirmation of your order being completed. We will email you to confirm your order and again to confirm dispatch of the item(s). Once the order has been dispatched you will receive an email from our designated courier company with the tracking details.
You can also choose to pay with PayPal. When selecting this option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to 'Log In' and review the amount shown before clicking 'Pay Now'. Once this transaction is complete, you will then return to AllyCapellino.co.uk.
All transactions on the Ally Capellino website are processed using SagePay, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.
To give you even more confidence in shopping online with AllyCapellino.co.uk, we have introduced SecureCodeTM Technology. This service protects your existing card account from unauthorised use when you shop with us.
To use this service, you must first register with the bank or other organisation that issued your card.
Once you have registered and created your own private password with your card issuer, you will be automatically prompted at checkout to provide this password each time you make a purchase. This means that even if someone knows your debit card number, they will be unable to complete a purchase without your private password.
Please note: Your SecureCode password is not your Ally Capellino account password. Ally Capellino does not have access to your Secure Code password. We would recommend that you do not use the same password for both.
A common reason for orders being declined is due to the billing address details being entered incorrectly. Please ensure that in the 'billing address' section, the address to which your bank statements are sent is entered. For full details of why the payment was declined, please contact your card issuer.
Pricing & Promotions
Sale Items
As with full priced goods, sale items can be sent back for a full refund. Please ensure goods are sent back to us in original condition within 7 days of receipt.
Discount Codes
We may on occasion offer a promotional discount on certain products. Individual terms and conditions will apply. Student Discount We offer all students with an NUS Extra or an ISIC Extra card a 12% discount online and in store. Register yourself on the NUS website for your card then enter the card number at checkout. If you are a student without an NUS or ISIC card you can still apply for student discount by emailing web@allycapellino.co.uk.
You can also visit us in store with a valid NUS or ISIC student card.
Please note that student discount is not valid on sale items. 

4. DELIVERY OPTIONS

We offer delivery to a wide range of local & international destinations. A complimentary gift wrapping service will be included with your purchase, except during sale periods.

UK Standard Delivery - £6.00 (FREE on orders over £100)

In-stock items are dispatched within 1 working day. Please allow 2 to 5 days for the goods to arrive. Deliveries are made within working hours and require a signature. For this reason, you may like to nominate a secure delivery address where someone is available to sign.

UK Next Day Delivery - £12*
This is charged at £12 and is available for UK orders only. All orders need to be placed before 2pm for next working day delivery. Orders placed after this will be delivered within 48 hours. Orders placed on Friday after 2pm will be despatched on the following Monday. Deliveries are made within working hours and will require a signature. For this reason, you may like to nominate a secure delivery address where someone is available to sign.For all delivery options three attempts will be made as a signature is always required. Two calling cards will be left and on the third attempt a held at depot note left where the item will be returned to our warehouse after 5 days.

*PLEASE NOTE; due to high volumes of orders we are unable to offer a UK next day delivery service during the sale period.

International Delivery  (FREE on orders over £350)
Please note that customers outside of the European Union will be liable for any import duty or other taxes, fees and charges that are applied by customs or other authorities in the country of receipt. If you are unsure about whether these duties, taxes and charges might apply to your order, you should contact your local tax or customs authorities. Any items that are refused by customs for any reasons will be returned to us and a refund of your order processed.

Extended Christmas Return Policy:
All items purchased from the 1st Dec will have an extended returns policy until the 7th January 2016.

Full priced goods must be returned within 14 days of dispatch, and all sale items must be returned within 7 days from delivery of the goods. We ask that you return the goods unused, with all the original tags intact, along with the original dispatch note supplied with your delivery.
We also request that you please fill out and enclose the Returns Form supplied with your delivery.
You are responsible for the financial value of any goods that are being returned until we receive them, so we recommend that you use a trackable postage service and retain proof of postage.

Returns that are damaged or soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than to try the item on) may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused. Where provided, any packaging such as dust bags, boxes and tags must be included with your return.
Once your return has been received, we aim to process it as quickly as possible. Please note that at peak times, it may take us longer than usual to process your return, up to 14 days. Please ensure you include your order number when returning any items, as without this we are unable to complete your refund. We will notify you by email when we receive and approve your return. We will then issue a refund by the same payment method as your order within 30 days of you posting the return.

6. YOUR ACCOUNT
The main advantage of opening an account is that your billing and dispatch details together with credit and debit card details (via Sagepay Token System) are conveniently and securely stored, making it easier to order. Creating an account also allows you to create a wish list of products, and access current and previous orders. You can also join our mailing list to be notified of new items, Sale previews and other Ally Capellino events. You can still place an order without opening an account. If you wish to create an account you will be asked to register and provide your personal details. You must provide your real name, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Should any of your registration information change, please update your personal details at www.allycapellino.co.uk or notify us immediately by calling Ally Capellino Customer Service, or via email at web@allycapellino.co.uk. Please note: we may change account registration requirements from time to time. The account password you provide should be unique and kept secure, and you must notify Ally Capellino Web Support immediately of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account by emailing web@allycapellino.co.uk If you have forgotten your password you can reset it by entering your email address and clicking ‘forgot your password’ at the login page here. We will then send you an email that contains a link to reset your password and log in to your account. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we use your data.

7. VIEWING ORDERS
Once you have created an account and have logged in you will be able to view all your orders by clicking on the ‘My Orders’ section of your account. If you do not have an account on the Ally Capellino website please email web@allycapellino.co.uk for any queries or concerns regarding your order.

8. GIFT WRAPPING AND PACKAGING
Packaging
All our products are carefully packaged in Ally Capellino signature wrapping and shipped securely. Your purchase will arrive in a postage box or postage bag, depending on the size of your order. Leather bags also come with a complimentary dust bag.
Gift Wrapping
Your order will be tissue wrapped and placed in one of our bespoke boxes, or wrapped in brown paper and tied with grosgrain ribbon. During the Christmas season a colourful festive leather tag is added to our wrapping. This will come as standard on orders placed between November and December. If you would like to include a hand written gift card, please select this option at the checkout.

9. CARE OF BAGS
Leather
Your Ally Capellino bag is made using the best leathers we can find. Every hide is unique and tonal variations, small marks or scars are natural features and should not be considered faults.
The tanneries who supply our beautiful vegetable tanned leathers adhere to an ecological rulebook and employ skilled artisans. These full grain leathers have no synthetic covering and are sensitively finished with oils and waxes. Vegetable tan leathers darken and develop with exposure to light, and this natural aging process gradually enhances the personality of your bag.
The supple Italian nappa used for the soft group has very stable dyes for the strong colours, but the metallic foil finish needs a little extra care against repeated abrasion.
Rain, grease and other liquids should be avoided as they may cause staining which is difficult and sometimes impossible to remove. Care should also be taken to avoid colour transfer from dark clothing onto light leathers, and dark leathers onto light coloured clothing.
Leather is known for its durability, versatility and strength and has been around for as long as men have been hunters. With a bit of care and attention it will last you a life-time.
Take care not to over-fill your bag as this will cause it to loose shape and weaken the handles over time . When you’re not using your bag, stuff it with bubble wrap - it doesn’t attract the moths like tissue paper - and store it in its dust bag. For longer term storage undo strap buckles so that impressions are not created.( Three to four times a year use a leather conditioning cream to keep the leather supple and stop it from drying out. Babywipes are good for keeping the leather clean, or you can try dampening a soft cloth with mild hand soap and warm water and wiping the surface. Don’t scrub it, but rub a little conditioner in after it has dried. ) It is difficult to remove stains from leather, so don’t let biros and make up loose in your bag. Be careful of pigment transfer from dark coloured clothing, denim is a regular culprit.
Oil, grease and ink are nearly impossible to remove. Fresh stains such as spilled liquids or food should be cleaned up immediately with a damp cloth or leather cleaner. Before using any products, always test a small, non-visible area first such as the base. Apply product to a cloth rather than directly onto the leather. Leather isn’t waterproof, if it is pouring with rain it might be better to use a different bag. However if it does get wet, blot with a paper towel, and then pack loosely with paper and allow it to dry naturally. Never place it in direct heat or sunlight for prolonged periods of time as this may cause the leather to crack or the colour to fade unevenly. Surface marking or scuffs that appears on some natural finish leathers are often superficial and a result of the displacement of the oils in the leather. You can usually rub these out with a little bit of pressure from your finger.
Leather ages naturally, colours can change and darken with use, these tend to be characteristics of Ally Capellino bags. They are intended to be worn and loved and they will improve with age.
Waxed Cottons
Traditional British waxed cotton has been an Ally Capellino staple for more than ten years, for its durable and water resistant qualities. This shower resistant fabric cannot be washed or dry-cleaned, but allow any mud to dry, and then gently brush off with a soft brush. The fabric can be gently sponged with a damp cloth without detergent. Care must be taken not to get the leather wet.
Reproofing can help to maintain the waterproof qualities of this fabric, however please note that this process is only suitable for certain types of traditional waxed cotton. This season the mint colourway is suitable for reproofing. The black and tan colourways are made from a modern synthetic variation of the finish which is not suitable for reproofing.
Luxe Wax
The fabrics used in this group have similar features to the Waxy group. The navy colourway is suitable for reproofing.
The special edition iGor in Khaki has the same synthetic variation. See ’Waxy’ for detail.
Canvas
Our lightweight cotton canvas is coated in wax giving it a shower proof finish.
This fabric cannot be washed or dry-cleaned. Allow any mud to dry, and then gently brush off with a soft brush. The fabric can also be washed gently with a wet sponge, but care must be taken not to get the leather wet.
Lighter colours could be subject to dye transfer from dark clothing. This fabric cannot be reproofed.
Cloud
This group combines polyurethane panels and vegetable tanned leather. These fabrics are incredibly durable, however care should be taken to avoid dye transfer from darker clothing. For further information on leather care please refer to the previous section.
Paper
This fabric is made in Italy from a mix of recycled natural cellulose with a small percentage of latex. No leather is used in the manufacture of these bags and they are therefore suitable for vegans.
The fabric is very durable and washable. Bags without the metal frame may be machine washed at 30° using a mild non biological detergent. The bags with the metal frames should not be washed.

10. REPAIRS
All Ally Capellino products are covered by a one year warranty. We hope that you will be 100% satisfied with your item, however if there is a problem or a fault, please email photos of the entire product as well as the detail of the repair/fault to shop@allycapellino.co.uk.
Although not all of our bags can be repaired, we will always carefully assess each bag and advise you what can be done to rectify things. The original proof of purchase will be required if your bag is still within the warranty period i.e. bank statement if original receipt has been mislaid. If your product was purchased from one of our stockists you must contact them directly.
If your item is still within warranty we will endeavour in the first case to provide you with a replacement. However if this is not possible we will look to provide a repair free of charge.
If your item is outside the one year warranty and can be repaired, you will be contacted by us with a quote for the work and asked if you wish to proceed. The cost will depend on the age of the bag and the nature of the repair.
Although the repair will be carried out to the best of our ability, there may be some colour or leather variation depending on the style and age of the bag, and sometimes it will not be possible to repair an older bag.
Please note we will not accept repairs dropped off at the shops without being notified by email first. Please also be aware that repairs can take 4-6 weeks from us receiving the bag.

11. PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Security
To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.
You will also notice that when you look at the location (URL) field at the top of the browser you will see it begins with 'https:' instead of the normal 'http:'. This means that you are in secure mode.
Ally Capellino is registered with Cybertrust as an authentic site. This ensures that your information is kept private while in transit between your web browser and our web server.
Privacy
We understand that your privacy is important and we will treat any personal information you provide us as confidential and this will only be used and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003.We will treat as confidential all of the personal information you give to us when you register with us using the facility on this website. a. Shipping country

The Ally Capellino online store only offers products that we have in stock and that are published on www.allycapellino.co.uk. Browse the site to select the items you like and add them to your shopping bag. Please note that all orders are subject to availability, and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you have completed all checkout steps, and received confirmation of your order.

You can always view, change or delete items in your shopping bag before you proceed to the checkout.

b. Registration

If you wish to create an account for future use you will be asked to register and provide your personal details. You must provide your real name, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Should any of your registration information change, please update your personal details at www.allycapellino.co.uk or notify us immediately by calling Ally Capellino Customer Service or via email at web@allycapellino.co.uk

We may change account registration requirements from time to time.

c. Submitting your order

Before proceeding to payment, you can review your order (including your total price inclusive of VAT and shipping charges) and make changes if needed. We will use your email address for delivery notification.

Please note that the order will not be valid if we cannot confirm the billing and shipping addresses that you provide. We also reserve the right to only accept orders from those aged over 18 years old.

Orders must be placed online or via telephone (provided that the item is in stock online) by calling +44 020 7613 3073. Ally Capellino do not accept orders via email.

d. Payment

Payment for online store purchases can be made with a valid card by a provider accepted by Ally Capellino online, or with a PayPal account. You will be required to provide payment details that you represent and warrant are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided. The total order sum will be checked and reserved against your credit/debit card or marked as pending on your PayPal account until the time of dispatch from our warehouse. Ally Capellino reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item, or of orders, being shipped to any one customer or postal address.

The same payment terms apply to customers placing their order online as well as via telephone. We do not accept orders via email.

e. Order confirmation

You will receive an immediate online confirmation on your screen at the end of the checkout, as well as an email confirmation of your order from Ally Capellino.

f. Changes to your placed order

We aim to be really fast at picking and packing, so please note that once your order has been placed and you have received an order confirmation email, it may not be possible to make any changes to your order. If you wish to make changes to your placed order, or if there is any mistake made in registering customer contact or address details when placing the order, it is your responsibility to contact Ally Capellino Web Support immediately, by emailing web@allycapellino.co.uk or calling +44 020 7613 3073 between the hours of 10am – 6pm GMT, Monday – Friday.

2. PRICING POLICY AND CHARGES

Prices are shown in British pounds (£/GBP) for shipments to addresses in the UK.

All prices displayed in the Ally Capellino online store include UK Value Added Tax (VAT) and exclude shipping fees. The shipping fees, where applicable, will be added to the order at the checkout stage and might differ based on which country your order is shipped to. If your order is being shipped outside of the EU, UK Value Added Tax will be deducted at the point of checkout. Please note that you will be liable for any import taxes that may apply. Please find more information about our delivery charges for each country in our DELIVERY OPTIONS section.

3. PAYMENT

Orders placed against a VISA card or MasterCard can be processed online or via the telephone (provided that the item is in stock online) by calling +44 020 7613 3073. Ally Capellino do not accept orders via email.

Orders placed against a PayPal account can only be processed online.

When paying by card or PayPal, Ally Capellino reserves the right to check the validity of the card or PayPal account, that there are enough funds to cover the purchase sum, and validate the billing address details of the purchaser. We reserve the right to deny any purchase. Your card or PayPal account will only be debited after your order has been dispatched from the warehouse. The currency used is £/GBP. UK VAT is included in all our prices and will be updated on the online store, when you select shipping country.

Please note that all prices and product information on www.allycapellino.co.uk are subject to change. We cannot provide information about, or guarantee item availability in our shops via the website; some items that can be seen online are only available, or may be sold out, in select stores. If you are a UK customer whose card or PayPal account is not denominated in British pounds (£), the final transaction amount will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer or PayPal processes the transaction.

4. DELIVERY & DESPATCH

Delivery costs are calculated at the checkout. You can refer to our full ‘DELIVERY OPTIONS’ section for full delivery options and pricing. Please note that all prices, VAT, delivery times and delivery charges will be adjusted depending on the country you would like your items shipped to.

Shipping fees in £ (GBP) will be displayed at the checkout.

Ally Capellino will take the greatest of care to be as accurate as possible when receiving and dispatching orders.

We will dispatch the approved orders as quickly as possible. UK standard delivery normally takes 2-5 working days (Monday – Friday) from the time of placing the order. Delivery times outside the UK may vary depending on where the order is to be delivered.
Please note that we only sell items that we have in stock. Items may sell out during the shopping session, and stock availability will be updated once you reach the checkout. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours (Monday – Friday) with the exception of sale and peak periods where this may take longer. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Ally Capellino is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes, or courier delays due to adverse weather conditions etc.

If a delivery suffers a delay or if the delivery cannot be dispatched due to the goods not being in stock or other reasons, the customer will be informed about this as quickly as possible or at the latest 10 days after the order was placed. In this case, the customer will be given the option and has a right to terminate the agreement, free of charge. In the case of termination in accordance with this paragraph, Ally Capellino will refund the customer with the sum paid as quickly as possible, though at the latest within 30 days after termination.

The place of delivery is deemed to be the address that the customer makes known to Ally Capellino at the time of registering personal details and placing the order.

We do not deliver to the Crown Dependencies (Jersey, Guernsey or Isle of Man) or to British Overseas Territories (Anguilla, Bermuda, British Antarctic Territory, British Indian Ocean Territories, British Virgin Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Cayman Islands, Montserrat, Pitcairn Islands, St Helena, Ascension, Tristan da Cunha, Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia, South Georgia and the South, Sandwich Islands or Turks and Caicos Islands).

We are also currently unable to process orders from Russian cardholders or deliver to Russian delivery addresses.

5. RIGHT OF RETURN/CANCELLATION

a. Our policy

We aim to be really fast at picking and packing, so please note that once your order has been placed and you have received an order confirmation email, it may not be possible to make any changes to your order.

If you wish to cancel your order please notify us immediately by emailing web@allycapellino.co.uk or telephone +44 020 7613 3073 between the hours of 10am – 6pm GMT, Monday – Friday. However due despatch procedures we cannot guarantee that it will be possible.
You have the right to return your purchases within a period of 14 calendar days after the day of delivery of the goods. This means that you are allowed to change your mind and send back the goods you have received, without any obligations from your side. We trust that you will treat the product and its packaging with care - please return items undamaged and unused, with all Ally Capellino labels and tags intact.

Please Note: all sale items must be returned within 7 calendar days after the day of delivery of the goods.

We request that you please fill out and enclose the Returns Form supplied with your delivery. Please note that we are not responsible for return postage, and remember that financial responsibility for the return is yours until it reaches us. Returns that are damaged or soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than to try the item on) may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused. Where provided, any packaging such as dust bags, boxes and tags must be included with your return.
Once your return has been received, we aim to process it as quickly as possible. Please note that at peak times, it may take us longer than usual to process your return, up to a maximum of 14 days. We will notify you by email when we receive and approve your return. We will then issue a refund by the same payment method as your order within 30 days of you posting the return.

b. Exchanges

We are sorry that we are unable to currently exchange goods by post. Please return your goods and place a new order.

c. Faulty goods

Goods are faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 1 year of purchase. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If you are returning a faulty item, you are entitled to a full refund including the costs of return.

6. COLOUR VARIATIONS

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Ally Capellino website. If there are colour variations between the colours shown on the website on your computer and the actual colours of the products, this may be due to the colour reproduction on your computer.

a. Natural variations of materials

Careful consideration is given to the materials used in all our products. Your Ally Capellino product is made using the best leathers we can find. Every hide is unique. Tonal variations, marks or scars are natural features of the leather and should not be considered faults. The leathers will show signs of age and, like a favourite pair of jeans, your item may change in colour and develop into an individual piece that you will be proud to wear for years to come.

Our products that use waxed fabrics display a variation of markings that may continue to develop over time. This is a result of the natural waxing process.

7. TRANSPORT WARRANTY

All consignments that are sent are insured by Ally Capellino. If you discover any damage to the package before you open it, you must report this to the forwarding company. If you have already opened the consignment when you discover the damage, you must follow the instructions on the back of the return note that is attached to the consignment.

8. MINIMUM AGE

In order to shop at Ally Capellino online store you must be at least 18 years old.

9. PROTECTION OF PRIVACY

The Data Protection Act 1998 sets out requirements for how we store and disclose your personal information. Ally Capellino assumes responsibility for all personal information that you make available to us. The details are used for verifying, accepting and processing delivery agreements and for managing the customer relationship thereby arising, pursuing outstanding payments, combatting fraud and misuse and complying with statutory regulations. The information is also used with your consent for Ally Capellino’s marketing activities.

These Terms and Conditions and all disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or with the use of the website or with any purchase on the website shall be governed by British/English laws.

If any local mandatory consumer law provisions are applicable, Ally Capellino will consider such provisions and make country specific adjustments. Ally Capellino may modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any moment. You are therefore asked to accept only the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase with each of your orders.
