Hervé (pronounced er-vay) is the smartest little convertible thing you have ever seen. First a kind of cross body phone pouch with a zip pocket on front and mesh one behind, it then opens out to a cute and handy tote, big enough for standard A4 items or flip flops and little towel. Made from recycled plastic bottles it has some luxurious little touches of Veg tan leather.
The construction of this ripstop fabric is one borrowed from the military and was originally designed for parachutes.
Sharp objects or heat from flames or other sources are enemies that should be kept away from.
There is a light waterproof finish on the fabric, but because of the sticking on the seams they are not 100% waterproof.
Generally any dirt should be wiped off with a damp cloth, but you could wash the items in warm soapy water and rinse in clean water.
Beware though that this would dry out any leather parts and make them more brittle, so this should not be too often.
Don’t overload the bags and they will be handy for years.
