The hard-working Harvey is convertible and packable. Either a tote or a backpack, it closes with a graphic black and white braided drawstring. A mesh external slip pocket shows where your keys are and it all packs into a pocket constructed within the bag. Made from recycled bottles, the lightweight fabric is shower proof and small touches of veg tan leather give an AC finish.
The construction of this ripstop fabric is one borrowed from the military and was originally designed for parachutes.
Sharp objects or heat from flames or other sources are enemies that should be kept away from.
There is a light waterproof finish on the fabric, but because of the sticking on the seams they are not 100% waterproof.
Generally any dirt should be wiped off with a damp cloth, but you could wash the items in warm soapy water and rinse in clean water.
Beware though that this would dry out any leather parts and make them more brittle, so this should not be too often.
Don’t overload the bags and they will be handy for years.
