Ally Capellino Marina Willer House Of Colour

Ally Capellino super fan Marina Willer has transformed our Calvert Avenue shop into a colourtastic twig and branch wonderland celebrating Pride and honouring LGBTQ+ charity, The Outside Project.

Marina is an award winning graphic designer and film maker, and a partner at Pentagram and although colour is not her middle name, it is certainly in the nature of much of her work that now includes an art installation of multi-coloured painted branches in our Calvert Avenue store. The owner of more than a wardrobes-worth of Ally Capellino bags, long term fan and friend of the brand, Marina, reached out to Ally a few weeks ago to bring together and to life, their love of nature and colour which coincided beautifully with Pride month.

In honour of Pride, Ally Capellino will be donating 15% of June's sales from an AC x MW House of Colour Edit of the SS21 collection to LGBTQ+ charity, The Outside Project. In addition to contributing store revenue, Ally Capellino will be selling one of the painted branches from the installation and adding this to the total amount given to the charity.

The Outside Project is a Community Shelter, Centre and Domestic Abuse Refuge supporting people from the LGBTQ+ community. The organisation was set up to respond to the needs of LGBTQ+ community members who can often become endangered, homeless and 'hidden' homeless and finding it difficult to access mainstream services due to historical and existing prejudice within families and society at large.
