SPRING SUMMER 2021

Hemp is no longer relegated to the porridge-coloured gap year travellers, but its soft and linen-like qualities are now exploited to produce shapes that relax out of their boxy geometric construction. Minimal and very simple veg tanned leather is used to give essential strength at the stress points, handles and closures. Metalwork is reduced to a minimum and quietness becomes a feature. There are two new totes, one oversized, the other doubling as a bucket bag. On each, the lining colours climb out from the inside and onto the handles, whilst another colour binds the internal seams. Robust, stylish and easy on the environment thanks to the sustainable credentials of hemp. 

This classic, black travel group has the urban cyclist in mind. The light-weight and highly presentable bags will take you from home to work to meeting to the gym to dinner and back again. There are spaces for all the tech necessities, and to keep you safe there are reflective strips for night visibility. Leather handles are the finishing touch in Italian bridle leather.  

Our Waxed Cotton story is synonymous with Ally Capellino. From the original idea of a soft satchel for men in 2004, the range has grown into an iconic staple, with flagship pieces being our functional backpacks. With a cult-like following of both men and women (as well as their parents and children), the collection has been loved and treasured over the years. The colours of the season extend our campsite story with a safari inspired beige and a Baden-Powell verdigris green. 

The tactile veg tanned leathers in this group are from a Tuscan tannery whose methods are ancient, but impact on the environment kept to a minimum, with water conservation and chemical use strictly controlled. The hides are from northern Europe where animal welfare is paramount. Classic shapes in our Calvert collection are refreshed from season to season, with our hero pieces being the Hoy backpacks and Leila crossbody bags. This season we have introduced a lively tan bracken colour and a distinct grey putty with sugar pink trim. 

Large and small accessories that work a treat on their own or pair perfectly with a matching bag. Give yourself a sense of order and get organised amongst the chaos. Choose between pouches and wallets in Italian vegetable tanned leather, belts and lanyards in bridle leather and waxed cotton washbags. New colours for SS21 include blue and putty.  

Ally Capellino frame bags are soft with square or rectangular shapes. The contrast shoulder strap is adjustable, allowing for it to be worn crossbody or however you choose. Smart or casual depending on what you are wearing. New colours for Spring are pink and brown.
