Handcrafted in Channapatna, a town renowned for its toy-making craftsmanship, the SPICE GRINDER is made from fast-growing local trees harvested from non-forest and non-agricultural land. The gloss finish is achieved through the application of shellac—a non-toxic natural resin secreted by the insect Laccifer Lacca—and dyed with natural dyes extracted from plants such as Turmeric, Indigo, Kumkum, Manjishta, Catechu and Ratanjyoth tree bark.

The SPICE GRINDER, available in two sizes and five colours – Light Red, Dark Green, Light Green, Yellow and Dark Red - is fitted with a "best in class" CrushGrind® grinding mechanism that is extremely durable, resistant to wear and corrosion, and comes with a 25-year warranty.
