Meet the Papery Waxed Cotton family.

This finely woven cotton is waxed for a unique touch: it softens with warmth and firms up when cool, creating a marbled effect that evolves over time. A quick pass with a hairdryer revives its rich, waxed finish. Water-resistant and completely vegan, each bag has a coated canvas base for durability, black trims for a sharp look, and bright orange ripstop-lined pockets for easy cleaning and visibility.

Fish Crossbody Bag

A cross body or shoulder bag that can fit a water bottle, a book in the main section and more in the securely magnet closing front pocket. An adjustable strap and inside zip pocket keep things comfy and organised.

Care

This traditionally manufactured water resistant British Waxed Cotton fabric was originally developed for mariners from as early as the C15th. It cannot be washed or dry-cleaned, but can be sponged gently with a soap-free damp cloth. Always allow the item to dry thoroughly after use, in a cool, airy environment. Never pack away damp. Reproofing with a wax dressing will maintain the waterproof qualities and extend your bag’s life.
Beware of colour transfer from leathers on base onto lighter coloured clothing or fabrics and vice versa.
